What Happens During Virtual IOP?

Our virtual IOP runs Monday–Friday with morning and evening options. You’ll attend three hours a day of rotating, evidence-based education that includes CBT, DBT, nutrition and process group. You can choose the days and times that work best for your schedule.

You’ll also meet individually with a therapist and dietitian for one hour sessions weekly.

Upon admission, clients will undergo initial evaluations with both a doctor and a psychologist within 24 to 48 hours. Follow-up appointments with medical providers can be scheduled depending on needs. Additionally, you’ll have 24/7 virtual access to a licensed nurse to address any questions that may arise regarding medication or changes in wellbeing.

How often will I meet with a psychologist or doctor?
You’ll meet with a medical doctor and psychologist within 24–48 hours of starting. Ongoing check-ins are bi-weekly or monthly, depending on your needs. You’ll also have access to a lead nurse 24/7, and your vitals are monitored weekly using at-home tools provided to you.

What therapy approach do you follow?
We use a Health At Every Size (HAES)-aligned philosophy that emphasizes well-being, body respect, and healing your relationship with food and your body.

What are the meal plans like?
Meal plans are created with your dietitian based on a full nutritional assessment. They typically include an entrée and 1–3 sides, personalized to your nutritional needs and home environment.

Can I work or go to school while in the program?
Yes. Our flexible schedule is designed to work with your daily life, not against it.
