Watermelon

Fruits are a great source of vitamins and minerals. Citrus fruits, such as oranges, lemons, and grapefruits are high in vitamin C and antioxidants which help keep your immune system strong. Yellow and orange fruits such as cantaloupe, mangoes, and apricots are high in vitamin A, which are essential for healthy vision.  Don’t forget about your berries! Berries are a great source of antioxidants which has proven to help prevent heart disease. Watermelon, the popular summer fruit, is filled with antioxidants, vitamin A, and B6. Did you know watermelon is about 92% water! Fruits and vegetables are primarily water so they can help you stay hydrated. Now that sounds refreshing while you’re out in the summer sun!
